Freedom Hoops is a faith-based youth basketball nonprofit in Kansas City that exists to see hope, purpose, and lasting change in the lives of young men through the game of basketball.

Since 2014, we have been building long-term relationships with players and families in urban communities across KCMO. Our coaches and mentors meet players where they are—on outdoor courts, in school gyms, and in living rooms—and walk with them through the real challenges of life, faith, family, and the future.

What we do:
• Competitive basketball teams, leagues, and training that develop high-level skills and teach what it means to compete with integrity.
• One-on-one and small-group mentoring focused on faith, character, decision-making, school, and leadership.
• Discipleship environments that point players to Jesus and help them grow as men, sons, students, teammates, and leaders.
• Camps, clinics, and 3v3 tournaments that create on-ramps for new players, families, churches, and community partners.
• Family support and community outreach that connects parents and guardians to a Christ-centered community and trusted resources.

Our mission is to cultivate disciples…on the court and 1-on-1 in KCMO—and to see those young men impact their families, schools, and neighborhoods for generations.
