Ryan Hunter is the current President & COO

at Freedom Solar. Ryan has over 6 years of experience in the solar industry. Ryan started their career as a consultant at [X] and came on board full time in Oct 2017. Ryan served on leadership team and contributed to strategic planning, sales & operations forecasting, and resource prioritization. Ryan was responsible for creating process, originating partnerships and managing throughput in project management, site auditing, installation, and customer care.

In March 2014, they joined Sungevity as the SVP Installation Operations. Ryan was Head of Sungevity's operations organization of over 120 team members and preferred installer network of over 50 installation, design, and O&M partners. Ryan managed our procurement, supply chain, design & engineering, project management and field management teams. Ryan was responsible for hardware cost, labor cost, post-sale variable opex.

In November 2016, they left Sungevity to join Dandelion as the Vice President of Operations. Dandelion is a home geothermal company that graduated Alphabet's [X] in Spring 2017. Dandelion offers affordable geothermal installations that make renewable heating, cooling and hot water accessible.

Ryan Hunter has a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
