Damir Zekic

Damir Zekic has an extensive work experience spanning over 15 years. In 2004, they started as a Software Engineer at ORKA d.o.o. In 2008, they became an Author at INFO magazin and in 2010, a Contributing Author at IT PRO d.o.o. In 2009, they co-founded Ganxy and was the Frontend Development Lead. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Lead Developer at Starting Point, Co-Organizer at Barcamp Sarajevo, BIT Camp Lecturer at Bit Alliance, and Lecturer at ACADEMY387. In 2014, they joined Toptal as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead. Finally, in 2018 they became the Director of Engineering at Freedom.

Damir Zekic obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from Technische Universität Graz between 2007 and 2009, and studied Information Technology at University Džemal Bijedić Mostar from 2003 to 2007.
