Liesl M.

Liesl M.'s work experience includes roles at various companies in the marketing and communications field. Liesl served as the Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Sales Enablement at FreedomPay, where they were responsible for driving lead generation strategies and increasing brand awareness. Liesl also held positions as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications (Europe, Russia & the Nordics) at Verifone, Head of Global Payments Communications at Western Union, and Founder of Talkin'Media, which provided media training services. In addition, they worked at BBC News in various roles, including Deputy TV Executive and Multi-media Editor. Liesl has a strong background in managing teams, budgeting, and building partnerships.

Liesl M. began their education in 1987 at the University of the West of England, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in History and Communication Studies. Liesl completed their undergraduate studies in 1990. In 1990, they then went on to pursue a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism at the same institution, which they completed in 1991. After a significant gap in their education, Liesl returned to academia in 2012 at Hult Ashridge, where they pursued a Master's in Management with a focus on Marketing, Strategy, and People. Liesl completed their graduate studies in 2017.
