Yi Cui

Yi Cui has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. They are currently serving as the Medical Director at Achilles Therapeutics plc since February 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President, Head of Clinical Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance, Clinical and Medical at Freeline starting from 2021.

Yi Cui also has a rich history with GSK, where they worked in various roles from 2002 to 2021. This includes positions such as Director, Early Phase and Cell Gene Therapy, and Manager of SERM. They have expertise in electrophysiology assessment, in vitro/in vivo translation, and served as a principal scientist and investigator during their time at GSK.

Before joining GSK, Yi Cui worked as a Senior Research Fellow at University College London from 1998 to 2002 and as a Post-doc at the University of Oxford from 1996 to 1998.

Yi Cui holds a PhD in Pharmacology from The Fourth Military Medical University. Yi also obtained a Bachelor of Medicine degree in Medicine from the same university.
