Donald Patrick Eckler

Donald Patrick Eckler is a partner at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP in Chicago, where they co-chair the Professional Liability / Errors and Omissions national practice section and serve as Vice-Chair of the Midwest Coverage Team. They focus on defending professionals, insurers, and businesses in state and federal courts across Illinois and Indiana, with experience in appellate matters and amicus briefs. Eckler is also the current Second Vice President of the Illinois Defense Counsel, a member of the DRI Third-Party Litigation Task Force, and co-hosts the Podium and Panel Podcast. They previously worked as an associate attorney at several firms and hold a JD from the University of Florida.
