Wayne Melnick

Wayne Melnick is a Partner at Freeman Mathis & Gary, serving as Chair of the Trial Committee and Co-Chair of the On-Call Trial Team. They are an accomplished trial attorney, having tried over 100 jury trials across the United States, often stepping in as lead trial counsel for high-stakes cases. With a broad-based litigation practice focused on local government defense and a specialization in civil rights and education law, Wayne Melnick has defended various governmental entities and individuals in both state and federal courts. They received their J.D. from Emory University School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from Emory University.
