James Forrest

James Forrest is an experienced professional in event technology, currently serving as the Director of Event Technology at Freeman Company since October 2021. Previously, James held the same title at Encore Event Technologies from January 2018 to June 2019 and served as the Regional Director of Event Technologies and Audio Visual Director at ELITE Audio Visual Solutions from June 2012 to January 2018. James began his career in the audio-visual field as an Audio Visual Tech at LMG, LLC, and gained experience in operations and hospitality roles at Visual Aids Electronics and Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center. Additionally, James has freelanced as an audio engineer and worked in hospitality at Gaylord Entertainment. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from East Texas A&M University, completed in 2004.
