Steve Loerwald is an experienced business development professional with a strong background in the tradeshow and corporate event industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Business Development at Freeman since July 2014, Steve manages contracts for major events. Previously, Steve held the position of General Manager at GES Exposition Services from September 1993 to October 1997, overseeing operations in Dallas and sales in San Antonio and Houston. Earlier, Steve was General Manager at Andrews Bartlett Exposition Services, where responsibilities included managing a $20 million sales operation, budgeting, personnel management, contract negotiations, and risk management. Steve holds a degree in Journalism with a focus on TV Broadcast from Texas State University, attended from 1974 to 1978.
