George Morris

George Morris has extensive work experience in engineering and leadership roles. George started their career in 1990 as a Director at Jostens Learning and then worked as a Group Leader at Applied Biosystems from 1994 to 1997. George later served as a Director at Celera from 1997 to 2000 and as a CTO at Genetic Health from 2000 to 2001. From 2001 to 2005, George worked as a Director at Applied Biosystems again. George then joined E-Loan as a Director from 2005 to 2007 and Roche as a Director from 2007 to 2010. In 2010, they became the Vice President of Software Engineering at Transcend Insights until 2016. From 2016 to 2019, George held the position of Vice President of Software Engineering at Pacific Biosciences. Currently, they work as the Vice President of Engineering at Freenome, starting in September 2019.

George Morris earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Physics from the University of California at San Diego (UCSD) between 1979 and 1984.
