Signe Fransen

Signe Fransen is a seasoned professional in the field of scientific and medical affairs, currently serving as the Vice President of Field Medical, Advocacy & Operations at Freenome since July 2025. Prior roles include Vice President positions at Aqtual, Inc. and Strata Oncology, along with a consulting role at Signe Fransen Consulting. Fransen held multiple senior roles at Freenome from 2018 to 2021 and has extensive experience from Bristol-Myers Squibb, where responsibilities encompassed immuno-oncology, HIV, and virology. Fransen began a career in research and development at Monogram Biosciences. An academic background includes a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from McMaster University, completed between 1997 and 1999.
