Sodany Son

Sodany Son has extensive experience in the field of in vitro diagnostics (IVD), spanning roles as a Senior Scientist at Grifols Diagnostic Solutions from June 2014 to June 2022, where product concept development for HIV and HBV IVD products was a primary focus. Prior to this, Sodany worked as a Research Associate at Chiron Corporation from December 2002 to April 2006, contributing to the development of HBsAg products for clinical diagnostics, achieving CE mark certification. Additionally, Sodany held the position of Sr Research Specialist at Novartis from April 2006 to June 2014, overseeing the development of a fourth generation HIV product and managing various aspects of clinical trials for MenB vaccines. Currently serving as a Senior Development Scientist at Freenome since June 2022, Sodany continues to advance IVD technology. Educationally, Sodany holds a Masters of Science in Medical Science from the University of Florida, obtained in 2002.
