Amanda (Seagaard) Parry is a seasoned accounting professional with over two decades of experience in the financial sector, currently serving as the Director of Accounting at Freepoint Commodities since June 2011. In this role, Amanda established and leads global general accounting and reporting teams, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards across various jurisdictions. Responsibilities include managing a team of over 15 employees, overseeing financial reporting in multiple countries, providing accounting and tax compliance guidance to traders, and coordinating global audits with Big 4 firms. Prior positions include serving as the SVP & Director of Financial Reporting at Freepoint Commodities, a Technical Advisor at GE Capital, and an Audit Manager at Deloitte. Amanda holds a BA in International Business and Accounting from Elon University.
