Daniel Hiley is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in trade accounting and derivatives finance. Currently serving as Vice President of Trade Accounting at Freepoint Commodities since December 2014, Daniel has held multiple roles within the company, progressing from Senior Trade Accountant & Product Controller to Vice President. Prior to joining Freepoint, Daniel worked at Shell from August 2011 to April 2014, where responsibilities included leading the OTC Derivatives Accounting & Settlements team and ensuring the timely settlement of financial gas trades. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from the University of Lincoln, completed in 2011.
