David Fan is a seasoned commodities trader with extensive experience in the derivatives market, currently serving as a Refined Metal Derivatives Trader at Freepoint Commodities since September 2018. Previously, David held positions as a Derivative Trader at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. from 2012 to 2018, and as a Commodity Trader at J.P. Morgan for a short tenure in 2010. Prior to these roles, David worked as a Metal Trader at RBS SEMPRA COMMODITIES LLP from 2008 to 2010, and began a career in trading as an Assistant Trader at Sempra Metals from 2005 to 2008. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from UCL.
