Ian Read has extensive experience in IT leadership within the commodities and finance sectors. Currently serving as the Head of IT Infrastructure Europe at Freepoint Commodities since October 2011, Ian has previously held significant positions including Executive Director at JP Morgan and Head of IT Operations at RBS Sempra Commodities. Ian's career in IT management began in 2004 with RBS Sempra Commodities, where responsibilities included overseeing IT operations. Ian holds a 2:1 degree in Psychology, Economics, Philosophy, Sociology, and Politics from the University of Wolverhampton, and completed A Levels in Psychology and Economics at East Devon College of Further Education. Ian's educational foundation includes O Levels from Queen Elizabeths Secondary School.
