Peter F.

Peter F. is a highly experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Solar Development at Freepoint Commodities since 2015. In this role, Peter manages all aspects of the solar development business, focusing on negotiating long-term renewable take-off agreements with utilities and municipalities across multiple regions, including PJM, NYISO, and ISO-NE. Prior to Freepoint, Peter held the position of Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where leadership was provided to the renewable engagement group with a focus on merchant wind opportunities and long-term hedges for substantial onshore wind projects. At Sempra Energy Trading, Peter led the engagement with the RBS Power and Utilities Group to support power and gas hedging for clients, and during tenure at NextEra Energy Resources, Peter successfully executed long-term power purchase agreements and managed the development of a major offshore wind project. Early career experience includes directing the development of the Fairless Hills Energy Center at Statoil Energy and serving as a Financial Analyst at O'Brien Environment Energy.
