Rickard Berglén

Rickard Berglén, CFA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in quantitative development and systematic trading. Currently serving as a Senior Quant Developer at Freepoint Commodities since September 2022, Rickard previously held multiple roles at UBS from April 2007 to August 2022, including Executive Director and Director within Fixed Income Credit Trading and Systematic Portfolio Advisory. Notably, Rickard led the design and implementation of proprietary automated trading platforms for corporate bonds at UBS. Prior experience includes positions as Deployment Manager and Software Development Engineer at ABB. Rickard holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Engineering and Physical Science in Medicine from Imperial College London and an MBA from Blekinge Institute of Technology.
