Ryan Gauthier

Ryan Gauthier has extensive experience in the natural gas industry, currently serving in a position at Freepoint Commodities focused on the Gulf Coast since March 2020. Previous roles include Commercial Operations in Natural Gas at Shell, where responsibilities included daily scheduling for multiple pipelines and collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize gas flows. Prior to Shell, Ryan worked at EOG Resources in natural gas marketing, managing upstream and downstream scheduling across key market areas, as well as optimizing Canadian gas production. Additional experience includes roles as a natural gas scheduler at Direct Energy, where Ryan ensured compliance with pipeline contracts, and as a revenue accountant at Apache Corporation. Ryan began a career in finance as a financial advisor, gaining valuable skills in client management and investment strategies. Academic credentials include an MBA in Finance from the University of Houston and a BBA in Finance from Houston Christian University. Proficiency in multiple software tools enhances Ryan’s operational effectiveness.
