Scott Nelson

Scott Nelson currently serves as the Head of North American Credit at Mercuria Energy America, a position held since January 2018. Prior to this role, Scott was the Chief Commercial Officer at Freepoint Commodities and held the title of Managing Director at Sempra Energy Trading from 2002 to 2011. Earlier in Scott's career, the position of Credit Manager was held at Sithe Energies from 1999 to 2002. Scott received a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Ohio Wesleyan University and later earned a Master of Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham Campus.
