Desmond Leo

Desmond Leo has an extensive work experience spanning various roles and companies. Starting in 2005 at Ipsos as a Project Manager, they then moved on to Angus Reid Strategies in 2007, where they served as an Operations Project Manager. In 2009, Desmond joined Vision Critical, initially as a Senior Operations Project Manager before progressing to roles such as Operations Manager and Director of Operations, EMEA. Desmond also held the position of Director of Professional Services at Vision Critical in 2018 and 2019. Currently, Desmond is working at Freespee. Desmond began their tenure in 2019 as the Head Of Professional Services and later transitioned to other leadership positions, including Director of Product and currently serving as the Head of Strategic Alliances since January 2023.

Desmond Leo completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing from Carleton University from 1999 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained several certifications in the field of product management and innovation. In January 2023, Desmond completed the "Jobs to be done - Outcome Driven Innovation Introduction" certification from Strategyn. In March 2023, they obtained the "Jobs To Be Done - Outcome Driven Innovation Fundamentals" certification from the same institution. In June 2023, Desmond completed the "Jobs To Be Done - Outcome Driven Innovation Associate" certification from Strategyn. Lastly, in August 2023, they obtained the "Master Class: Continuous Discovery Habits (with Teresa Torres)" certification from Product Talk.
