Emma Lythgoe is a Managing Associate in the Competition team at Freeths since December 2021, having progressed from a Senior Associate within the same field. Previously, Emma worked at BT from September 2014 to November 2021 as a Competition and Regulatory Lawyer, following a tenure as a Trainee Solicitor. Emma also gained experience as a Trainee Solicitor (Secondee) at King & Wood Mallesons for a brief period in 2016, specializing in Competition. Earlier roles include Case Handler at Lloyds Banking Group and summer work placements at Carter-Ruck and Gordons LLP. Emma holds a Law with European Law (BA Hons) degree from the University of Nottingham and completed the LPC at The University of Law. Emma's education also includes studying at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and attending Bolton School Girls' Division for A levels.
