Helen Bates is a highly experienced Solicitor and Partner at Freeths LLP, leading the Restructuring and Insolvency team in the Leeds office since April 2019. With a strong focus on both Corporate and Personal Insolvency, Helen represents a diverse client base, including Insolvency Practitioners, Banks, Lenders, Companies, Directors, and Individuals, handling both contentious and non-contentious matters. Prior to this role, Helen served as a Director and Legal Director in Corporate Recovery & Insolvency at Clarion Solicitors, building a robust career in the field that also includes positions at hlw Commercial Lawyers LLP and Keeble Hawson Solicitors, along with experience as a Paralegal at ANC Rental Corporation. Helen holds a Legal Practice Course degree with Distinction from The College of Law.
