Iona Silverman

Iona Silverman is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Partner at Freeths LLP since November 2020. Prior to this role, Iona held various positions at Baker & McKenzie from September 2007 to November 2020, including Senior Associate and Associate in the Intellectual Property sector, as well as Trainee Solicitor, with training across multiple departments such as Corporate (M&A) and Competition law. Additionally, Iona was seconded to Unilever's Global Legal team from October 2015 to August 2016, focusing on the integration of Prestige brands. Iona's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Copyright Law and a Post Graduate Diploma in UK, EC & US Copyright Law from King’s College London, as well as an LLB in Law from the College of Law and an MSci in Physics with a European Language from the University of Nottingham.
