Penny Simpson

Penny Simpson is a prominent partner in the Planning and Environment Group at Freeths LLP, where Penny has been contributing since May 2013, based in the Sheffield office. Prior experience includes serving as an associate at DLA Piper UK LLP from July 2003 to May 2013, and as senior in-house counsel at RSPB from September 1999 to July 2003. Prior to these roles, Penny held the position of assistant solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP from August 1997 to August 1999. Penny's educational background includes earning a Legal Practice Course (LPC) degree from the College of Law, London, between 1993 and 1995, and a degree in Biological Sciences from The University of Manchester from 1989 to 1991, following studies at Cranbrook School.
