Robert Dimicco

Robert Dimicco is the current director at FreeWave Technologies. Prior to this, they worked at Riskalyze from January 2020 to December 2022, where they held the title of SVP, Engineering and Product. In this role, they led the engineering and product function for a high-growth SaaS start-up that provided best-in-class products and data to the US wealth tech and financial advisor market.

Under Dimicco's leadership, the company saw an ARR growth of 69% over two years and they set the foundation for scaling the company toward a $1B valuation. Robert rebuilt and transformed the software engineering, product management, platform engineering and product design teams by recruiting top leaders and talent, modernizing the tech stack and creating agile processes. This resulted in improved feature velocity, execution, innovation, productivity and user satisfaction.

Dimicco also grew headcount 2X in the US and Poland; improved talent, experience and accountability levels by upgrading 40% of leadership and 25% of engineers and product managers and adding VP/Director/Manager roles and new org structures. Robert extended progress to evolve the tech stack through modern frameworks such as React, GraphQL, breaking down frontend and backend monoliths, introducing NLP and implementing micro frontend and microservices patterns.

Robert shaped product strategies, roadmaps and feature priorities which drove 30%+ YOY growth and expansion into new segments. Robert Dimicco attended Rochester Institute of Technology where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Robert then furthered their education by earning their Master of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business.
