Jay Herrero

Jay Herrero began their work experience in 1996 as an Outreach Coordinator at The Floating Hospital, where they served as the sole healthcare provider for the city's shelter system. Jay then moved on to work as a Site Director at the Greenwich Village Youth Council's Jeanne Otter Youth Center from 1997 to 2000. During this time, they focused on supporting at-risk and low-income young people and their families. In 2000, they joined Vercera.com as a Senior Client Services Representative, where they developed a comprehensive service model for a proprietary receivables marketplace. From 2001 to 2014, Jay worked at OpenLink Financial, starting as an Analyst/Senior Analyst and eventually progressing to the role of Director of Global Client Support. Jay directed services supporting significant sales growth and protected annual recurring revenue. In 2016, Jay joined FreeWheel as the Sr. Director of Global Support, where they worked on end-to-end technology and premium marketplace offerings for media and entertainment companies. In 2020, they were promoted to Executive Director of Global Support.

Jay Herrero attended Borough of Manhattan Community College from 1995 to 1996 and Kingsborough Community College from 1994 to 1995. In 2015, they obtained a Spinning® Instructor Certification from Mad Dogg Athletics®.
