Tess O'Brien has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Tess started their career at NRG Legal, where they worked as a Corporate Paralegal from 2010 to 2012. Tess then joined Foxtel Media, where they held several positions, including Ad Sales Brand Partnerships Coordinator, Analyst in Strategic Partnerships, and Senior Analyst in Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships, from 2012 to 2016. Since 2016, they have been associated with FreeWheel, where they have held multiple roles. These include Senior Associate in Corporate Development, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Director of Product Marketing, Senior Director in Global Go-to-Market & Commercialization, and Executive Director of Global Go-to-Market & Commercialization. Tess is currently serving as the Vice President/Head of Buy Side Software Revenue - Americas at FreeWheel, leading demand software platforms and responsible for new business development, client growth, and strategic client relationships.

Tess O'Brien holds a Juris Doctor degree in Law from the University of Technology Sydney. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Communications & Journalism from the same university. Tess also holds a Practicing Legal Certificate from The College of Law Australia. In terms of certifications, they completed a course on Pragmatic Marketing from Pragmatic Institute in 2017. Tess has also been admitted as a Solicitor/Attorney in Australia by the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
