Tom Washington

Tom Washington is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and information technology management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering at FreeWheel since July 2025, Tom has held several key positions throughout a diverse career, including Director of Applications Development at TransUnion and Senior Director of Information Technology roles at VTS Rise, Enova International, and Fidelis SeniorCare Inc. Prior positions include Senior Director at Dyson and Computer Associates, Inc., as well as Director of Financial Applications at PSAV. Tom's foundational experience began at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, where the role of Senior Manager in Enterprise Platforms & Infrastructure was held over a decade. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Roosevelt University.
