Tong Chu

Tong Chu has extensive work experience in software engineering and algorithm development. Tong is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at FreeWheel. Prior to this, they held the role of Lead Software Engineer at FreeWheel from July 2019 to March 2022. Before joining FreeWheel, Tong Chu worked as an Algorithm Engineer at Bytedance Inc. from February 2017 to July 2019. Tong also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at domob.cn, where they worked on Facebook Marketing Partner team, and as a Software Developer at MicroStrategy, where they were part of the SQL Engine team. Additionally, Tong Chu has internship experience as a Software Engineer at the Game Department of NetEase.com, Inc. and Moody's Inc.

Tong Chu completed their education at Tsinghua University. Tong earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from 2006 to 2010. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in the same field from 2010 to 2013. In 2012, they obtained a certification for passing the CFA Level 1 exam from the CFA Institute.
