Daniel Ting has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2014. Daniel has held roles at The Helm Society, University of California, Riverside, UC San Diego Extension, ResMed, Robolink, and FreeWill. At The Helm Society, Daniel was a Technical Consultant - Summer Intern and led a team responsible for reconstructing a social networking website tailored specifically to CEOs and entrepreneurs, increasing site traffic by roughly 17%. At University of California, Riverside, they were an Ensure Peer Leader - BCOE and prepared and led discussions on academic success, leading to improved exam scores for students in Ensure. At UC San Diego Extension, they were an IT Assistant and troubleshot day-to-day technological problems on campus, resulting in a reduction in downtime for classes. At ResMed, they were a Quality Engineer Intern and developed a Traceability Report to provide comprehensive reports on test coverage for ResMed’s sleep apnea devices. At Robolink, they were a Programming & Robotics Instructor and designed and taught a programming course covering C++, Python, Java, and web development for high school students. Finally, at FreeWill, they are currently a Software Engineer.

Daniel Ting began their educational journey at Arcadia High School, where they attended from 2009 to 2013. Daniel then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science at the University of California, Riverside from 2013 to 2015. Afterward, they completed a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science at UC San Diego from 2015 to 2018. In 2020, they obtained a Human-Computer Interaction for User Experience Design certification from the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL).
