Katrina Walker

Katrina Walker has been working in the tech industry since 2019 when they began as a Software Engineer at FinSignum. In 2020, they moved to SelectQuote Insurance Services where they held the role of DevOps Engineer. Currently, they are employed as a DevOps Engineer at FreeWill. Prior to their tech career, they were employed at Saint Luke's Health System - Crittenton Children's Center from 2014 to 2019. During this time, they held two roles, Foster Care Resource Development Specialist and Foster Care Case Manager. In the latter role, they were responsible for assessing safety and needs of children and families and planning services and/or linking with community resources, as well as providing support to foster families to ensure needs of youth in care were consistently and appropriately met. Additionally, they engaged biological families to assist them in strengthening parenting skills and knowledge.

Katrina Walker attended Michigan State University from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Science and Technology Studies with a specialization in Bioethics, Health and Humanities. From 2017 to 2018, they attended LaunchCode for Software Development.
