Shawn Jacques currently serves as the Vice President of Research and Development at FreeWill since March 2025. Previously, Shawn held the position of Senior Vice President of Software Engineering at Formstack from March 2023 to March 2025, where a focus on empowering team culture resulted in a 50% increase in engineering velocity over two years. At MINDBODY, Inc., from June 2016 to November 2022, Shawn oversaw a tripling of the engineering team to over 200 members while leading significant infrastructure migrations to AWS and Azure and promoting modern software development practices. Shawn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1989 to 1994.
