Ed Scott began their work experience as an intern at the Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence in 2005. Ed then became a student brand manager for Penguin Group UK, where they focused on building brand awareness. In 2007, they interned at Shell Oil Company. From 2008 to 2010, Ed joined Franklin Templeton Investments as a Futures Associate, rotating through various functional areas of the business. Ed continued their career at Franklin Templeton as a Performance Analyst from 2010 to 2012, and then as a Senior Investment Risk Analyst from 2013 to 2017. Currently, they are working as the Director of Quantitative Analytics at Fremont Group since 2017.
Ed Scott has an education history that includes obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arabic and Economics from the University of St Andrews, which was done from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, Ed Scott has obtained a certification as a Financial Risk Manager from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in July 2015.
