Pascal Cassan is an experienced emergency physician and the National Medical Advisor of the French Red Cross since 1990. Currently, Pascal serves as the Medical Director of the IFRC Global First Aid Reference Centre and is a member of the IFRC board. With a Doctorate in Medicine from Faculté de Médecine Pitié - Salpétrière, Pascal has contributed to various roles within the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, including positions as First Aid Consultant and Head of the Global First Aid Reference Centre. As an Emeritus Member of ILCOR's First Aid task force and an Editorial Board member of the International Journal on First Aid Education, Pascal continues to influence the field of emergency medicine.
