frenchCALIFORNIA — Interior Design | Staging | Creative Direction

frenchCALIFORNIA is a New York– and California–based interior design and branding studio creating timeless, globally inspired interiors for residential, commercial, and cultural spaces. Founded by Paris-born designer Guillaume Coutheillas, the firm blends elevated aesthetics with a multicultural point of view, crafting environments that feel both deeply personal and universally refined.

Our services span luxury residential design, turnkey renovations, interior furnishings, art curation, and model residence staging, as well as select commercial and exhibition projects. We also offer brand strategy and visual design, helping properties and lifestyle brands define their identity and presence across touchpoints.

With a track record of collaboration with leading architecture firms and developers, frenchCALIFORNIA’s work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Interior Design Magazine, Robb Report, and more — and recognized by esteemed design awards including the Interior Design Society’s 360 Design Excellence Awards and the NYCxDESIGN Awards.

We believe great design is not just about beauty, but about meaningful experiences, lasting relationships, and spaces that feel like home — yet transcend expectation.
