Lars Kirchhoff is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Lars co-founded Frequenz in 2019, where they currently hold the role of Co-Founder. Prior to that, they worked at sociomantic labs GmbH from 2009 to 2018, and held the position of VP Product & Innovation Management. From 2002 to 2016, Lars owned Kirchhoff, Voeltz atbusiness media GbR. Lars also gained experience as a Research Assistant at the University of St. Gallen from 2005 to 2009. Lars began their career at the Institute of Electronic Business e.V. where they worked in research and IT development from 2000 to 2005. Additionally, they gained software development experience at Wincor Nixdorf Singapore from 2002 to 2003, and worked as a student at DeTeWe from 1997 to 2000.

Lars Kirchhoff completed their education in a chronological manner, beginning with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The Berlin School of Economics and Law from 1997 to 2000. Lars then pursued a Master's degree in Electronic Business from Universität der Künste Berlin from 2000 to 2004. Finally, Lars obtained a PhD in Information and Media Management from the University of St.Gallen from 2005 to 2009.
