Heitor Colangelo

Heitor Colangelo has a diverse work experience in the field of Android development. Heitor started their career in 2006 as an IT Technician at Tec Bor Borracha Técnica Ltda, where they developed and maintained a web system for sales and production. In 2011, they worked as an intern at UNESP, maintaining computer labs and working stations.

In 2012, Heitor joined EJCOMP as a Trainee, organizing events related to Computer Science subjects. Heitor then worked at BExpert as a CRM Consultant, where they developed and implemented solutions using Oracle's CRM technologies and later started mobile development using the Appcelerator platform.

In 2015, Heitor joined Concrete Solutions as an Android Developer, working on projects in finance, e-commerce, and paid TV. Heitor developed a bank solution for money transfers and bill payments, as well as a virtual supermarket app.

From 2018 to 2019, Heitor worked at Teamwork.com as an Android developer before joining MyCujoo as an Android Engineer. At MyCujoo, they maintained and expanded the Android MyCujoo Player application, focusing on code refactoring and performance improvements.

In 2019, Heitor joined Monese as an Android Engineer, where they worked on integrating a personal loans feature with a third-party credit provider. Heitor focused on making the code reusable, testable, and maintainable.

From 2020 to 2023, Heitor worked at FAIRTIQ as an Android Engineer, adding new features to the application and leading the multi-traveller feature. Heitor also participated in refactoring the current codebase and designing a new architecture.

Currently, Heitor is an Android Engineer at Fresco, a cross-brand platform that brings appliances, home cooks, and recipes together. Heitor is responsible for developing and maintaining the Fresco KitchenOS platform, allowing control of over 100 different appliance models.

Throughout their career, Heitor has demonstrated their expertise in Android development, focusing on clean code, testability, reusability, and performance optimization.

Heitor Colangelo completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, from 2008 to 2012. Heitor is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, starting in 2022.

Additionally, Heitor has obtained several certifications in various areas. In 2022, they became a Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) from Scrum.org. Heitor also completed the "iOS & Swift - The Complete iOS App Development Bootcamp" from Udemy in June 2022. In 2020, they acquired certifications in "Android Clean Architecture" and "Koin" from Caster.IO, as well as "The Complete Flutter Development Bootcamp Using Dart" and "Introduction to Flutter development with Dart" from The App Brewery. Heitor also completed the "Android Concurrency Masterclass" and "SOLID Principles of Object-Oriented Design and Architecture" certifications from Udemy in 2020.
