Jens Karsten

Jens Karsten has a diverse work experience in the fields of hospitality, architecture, design, and business development. Jens started their career in 2015 as a Global Business Development professional at Ice Energy Store, Inc., where they focused on eco-friendly and energy-efficient HVAC technology. In 2017, they joined FreshBed as a Sales Executive, specializing in innovative hotel sleep systems. Alongside this role, Jens also served as the President & CEO of Better Miami, Inc., where they implemented innovative hotel and real estate marketing concepts using AR and VR technologies. In 2018, they became a Business Development Manager at PanoInsight. Continuing their entrepreneurial journey, Jens founded VISIONARY CONCEPTS in 2012 and Veightless Series in 2019, focusing on hospitality, yachting, sports, and real estate. Jens also worked as a Business Partner at Nitz engineering GmbH, specializing in hotel and hospitality solutions. Jens' most recent role was as a Sleep Spa & Wellness Concept Designer at better moments UG (haftungsbeschraenkt), where they designed concepts for the integration of sleep, spa, and wellness in hospitality. Throughout their career, Jens has demonstrated a passion for innovation and creating exceptional experiences in the hotel and real estate industry.

Jens Karsten began their education at the Geschwister-Scholl-School in Melsungen, where they completed their high-school diploma, known as Abitur, in the years 1985 to 1989. Jens specialized in special subjects such as English and Biology during this period.

After completing high school, Jens attended the Municipal College for Haulage & Travel and Tourism in Munich from 1990 to 1993. Jens obtained a professional certification as a Qualified Travel Industry Professional during this time.

In addition to their formal education, Jens Karsten also obtained a certification in E-Commerce Tourism Economy from Management Circle AG in December 2000.
