Steve Baas

Steve Baas has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Steve started their career at Lipton in 1990, where they worked as a Production Supervisor and Facilities Manager until 1998. Following this, they joined Playtex, Gentle Glide Division as a Maintenance Manager until 2000. From 2000 to 2008, they worked at Mrs. T's Pierogies as an Engineering and Maintenance Manager. Steve then moved on to Freshpet, where they held various positions. From 2008 to 2013, they served as an Operations Manager, overseeing labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures. From 2013 to 2018, they took on the role of Environmental Health and Safety Manager, providing leadership in environmental, health, and safety for the manufacturing department. Currently, they work at Freshpet as the Director of Knowledge and Education, designing and implementing corporate training programs aligned with the company's objectives.

Steve Baas attended Wichita State University from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing.
