Patrick Smulders

Patrick Smulders is a seasoned private equity professional with extensive experience in leadership roles, including Co Founder and Managing Partner at Freshstream since August 2015, and previously serving as Managing Director and investment committee member at TowerBrook Capital Partners L.P. from 2004 to 2015. Smulders co-founded Doughty Hanson, where Patrick was a senior partner from 1993 to 2003. In addition to private equity work, Smulders is actively involved in various educational and charitable organizations, serving as a Governor at Rugby School, a Trustee for The SpringBoard Bursary Foundation, and Co Founder and Trustee of the Horizon Foundation, which provides scholarships for students from refugee communities. Smulders holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Harvard University, with earlier education at Eton College.
