Dirk Jacobs

Dirk Jacobs has extensive experience in security and fire safety management, currently serving as Director Security & Fire Safety at Freudenberg Group since January 2011, where responsibilities include overseeing a team of 82 staff and acting as Fire Chief at the Industrial Park Weinheim. Jacobs has a strong background in business unit management, including security strategy, sales, and customer relationship management, along with a role as a part-time Business Consultant since February 2017 focusing on portfolio management and change processes. Previous experiences include serving as Senior Project Manager and Key Account Manager at Securitas Deutschland and Head of Site Security at Daimler AG, where significant contributions to fire safety engineering and corporate security were made. Military service as a First Lieutenant in the German Army laid the foundation for Jacobs’ leadership skills, complemented by a comprehensive educational background in electrical engineering and security management from notable institutions.
