Jon Baum

Jon Baum is an accomplished sales professional with extensive experience in the steel and materials industry. Having served as a Territory Sales Manager at Ratner Steel Supply Company from May 2014 to August 2020, Jon also held significant roles including Outside Sales Representative at Friedman Industries Inc since March 2025, Field Sales Representative and General Manager of Sales for the Central Region at Olympic Steel from May 2005 to May 2014, and Product Manager at Liebovich Steel & Aluminum from March 1997 to May 2005. Prior to these roles, Jon worked as an Office Manager at Engineered Building & Design from 1995 to 1997. Most recently, Jon was a Business Development Leader for the Western Midwest at Alliance Steel from March 2023 to February 2025. Jon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Iowa, earned between 1988 and 1992.
