FriendWe is a social platform designed to help people meet in person by connecting faces to places.
Most social and dating apps aim to keep users scrolling and swiping — FriendWe flips that idea.

How it works:
	•	Users choose either a place (e.g., Auckland Museum, Albert Park, Hoyts Cinema) or a face first.
	•	To connect, they must pick a place where they’d like to meet.
	•	They can indicate whether it’s for friendship or dating, and optionally use our calendar feature to set a date.
	•	They can also decide how to handle the cost — split, treat, or be treated.

This design reduces endless chatting and increases real-life meetings by removing decision fatigue and encouraging action.
It also helps filter fake profiles and scams, since meeting physically becomes part of the process.

Our goal is to make connecting as natural as saying:

“Pick a place and a face.”
