Stichting Friesio Foundation is a Dutch-registered non-profit based in Arnhem, Netherlands, dedicated to building resilient communities through education, workforce integration, and heritage preservation. We operate across the Netherlands, Germany and Ukraine, combining humanitarian mission with practical impact.

Our Projects

🏛️ Friesio CareCampus — Transforming the 230-year-old Hakuna Matata Centre in Zella-Mehlis, Thuringia, into a workforce integration hub. We combine monument preservation with addressing Germany’s critical nursing shortage by providing housing, language training, and job placement for international skilled workers. A unique blend of heritage conservation and social innovation.

🎓 Friesio Student Hub — Supporting international students and skilled professionals in Germany through free counseling, career guidance, and integration services. From pre-arrival advice to post-graduation employment pathways — including Chancenkarte support — we help global talent navigate and succeed in the German labor market.

Our Approach

We believe in holistic humanitarian initiatives that integrate education, healthcare, economic empowerment, and cultural heritage to create lasting, equitable change. Through strategic partnerships with universities, businesses, and government bodies, we bridge the gap between global talent and local opportunity.

Our work is anchored in the Sustainable Development Goals, with a focus on: - Quality Education (SDG 4) - Decent Work & Economic Growth (SDG 8) - Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10) - Sustainable Cities & Communities (SDG 11) - Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17)

Join Us

We invite partners, volunteers, and supporters to join us in creating a world where compassion, opportunity, and cultural heritage go hand in hand. Together, we can make a profound difference.
