Stijn van Aert

Stijn van Aert has a diverse and extensive work experience. Stijn is currently a Community Leader & Co-Founder at Fring, a freelance community platform. Previously, Stijn worked as a Chief Growth Officer and ScaleUp Strategist at Horizon21, where they worked closely with entrepreneurial leaders and executive teams to guide and execute transformational journeys for leading companies. Stijn also served as a Strategy Director at Valtech Nederland, where they played a crucial role in scaling up the agency and working with international key clients. Prior to that, Stijn was a Digital Strategy Lead at eFocus, where they developed digital strategies and managed multiple digital transformation teams and programs. Stijn started their career as an Executive Strategy Consultant at Atos KPMG Consulting and later held the position of Talent Development Manager, responsible for the management and development of a team of business consultants. Stijn also worked as a Digital Strategy Consultant at Alliander and held a managerial role at KPN, overseeing the project office for KPN.com.

Stijn van Aert has a Master's degree in International Business: Marketing, innovation and strategy from Maastricht University, which they completed between 1998 and 2004. In 2002 to 2003, they attended BI Norwegian Business School to study CRM and Brand Management. Stijn also obtained a degree as a Registered Digital Marketeer from Beeckestijn Business School, where they focused on online marketing trends, new media management, email marketing, analytics, usability, and the social web.

In addition to their formal education, Stijn van Aert has obtained several certifications. In 2005, they became a Consulting & core teaming skills trainer at Atos Consulting. In 2015, they completed the course "Van deskundige naar trainer" at de galan school voor training. More recently, in 2016, they completed the "Storytelling for Influence" course at IDEO U.
