Alex Brown

Alex Brown has a diverse work experience. In 2016, Alex served as the CTO of Frio, a company focused on developing IoT controls for building and HVAC systems. At Frio, Alex worked on innovative projects involving efficiency, automation, and remote monitoring of systems. Prior to joining Frio, Alex worked as a Research Assistant at the Biomedical Engineering Center at Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth. During this time, Alex conducted research on biomechanical performance following shoulder and knee arthroplasty procedures, using motion sensors to analyze data and identify patterns of abnormal joint motion. Before that, Alex was a Partner at Dart Dorm LLC from 2011 to 2014.

Alex Brown began their education at Dartmouth College in 2010 and completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in 2014. They specialized in Engineering Science modified with Studio Art and also pursued a minor in Sustainability. Following this, Alex went on to attend the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth from 2014 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
