Mark Dobson

Station Officer

Mark Dobson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and mental health initiatives. As the Founder of Ordinary Courage, a consultancy focused on workplace mental health, Mark aims to strengthen team dynamics. Current roles include serving as a Winston Churchill Fellow and holding dual positions as a Station Officer and Wellbeing Coordinator at Fire & Rescue NSW, where Mark designs and implements proactive mental health programs while managing a team of 85 volunteers. Previous experience includes managing disaster response teams with Disaster Relief Australia and leading team-building programs in corporate settings. Mark's background also includes service in the Royal Australian Navy as a Physical Training Instructor. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Indigenous Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of New South Wales.
