Matthew Doherty

Matthew Doherty has extensive experience in emergency services and facilities management. Currently serving as a State Health and Safety Representative and Acting Deputy Captain at Fire and Rescue NSW since August 2022, Matthew has also held various leadership roles including General Manager at Safer Facilities Group Pty Ltd and Qld Facilities Team Leader at CBRE Asia Pacific. Previous positions include Operations Manager at McConaghy Properties and a long tenure as Owner and Operations Manager at Technical Security Services. Matthew's career began at the NSW State Emergency Service, where valuable rescue skills were developed. Educational background includes completing HSC at Alstonville High School.
