Tom Wilson is a resilience and disaster risk reduction professional with extensive experience in emergency services and community preparedness. Currently, they serve as the founder and advisor of DisasterGuard, where they provide tailored disaster risk advice and planning services. Previously, Tom worked as a Community Readiness Officer with Carers NSW and as an Environmental Education Officer with Central Coast Council. They have held the position of Senior Firefighter at Fire and Rescue NSW since 2014. Tom holds a Master of Disaster Resilience and Sustainable Development from the University of Newcastle and a Bachelor of Sustainability from the University of New England.
